Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective October 8, 2026
This policy has two parts: one for restaurants that pay for Pulse, and one for people who order food from a restaurant through Pulse.
For restaurants: your Pulse subscription
Free trials. If your plan has a free trial, you won't be charged until it ends. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time by emailing info@pulse-pos.com from the email address on your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you've already paid for. Your ordering site keeps taking orders until then, and we don't charge you again.
Refunds of subscription fees. Subscriptions are paid in advance and are not refunded for the unused part of a billing period, except:
- if we charged you by mistake (for example twice, or the wrong amount), we'll refund the difference;
- if Pulse was unavailable for a long period through our fault, we'll give a credit or refund in proportion to the time lost;
- if we end your account without you being at fault, we'll refund the unused part of the period;
- where the law requires a refund.
Locations. When you turn off a location, the change shows on your next invoice as a credit for the rest of the period, worked out by Stripe. When you add one, the extra cost for the rest of the period is added to your next invoice.
Per-order fees. Pulse's per-order fee is taken off your payouts. When you refund a diner, your payout is reduced by your share of the refunded amount, as shown in Pulse Dashboard.
To ask for a refund, email info@pulse-pos.com within 60 days of the charge. Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
For diners: food orders
The restaurant you order from sells you the food and decides refunds. Pulse runs the ordering site and processes the payment for the restaurant.
Cancelling an order. Contact the restaurant as soon as possible, using the phone number on its ordering site. Once the restaurant has started preparing your order, it may not be able to cancel it.
If the restaurant cancels or can't fill your order, you get a full refund of what you paid, and any reward points you used come back to your account.
Problems with an order (missing or wrong items, quality, a late delivery): contact the restaurant. It can refund all or part of your order through Pulse.
Unfinished payments. If you start paying and don't finish, the order is cancelled after 45 minutes and nothing is charged. Reward points or coupons you used come back to your account.
How refunds are paid. Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. If the whole order is refunded, the service fee and delivery fee are refunded too.
If you can't reach the restaurant, email info@pulse-pos.com with your order code (for example #A3G75) and we'll help you contact it.
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
